Conservation

Featuring exceptional craftsmanship, unique accessories, and interior configurability, Spacesaver’s Viking conservation storage cabinets have been selected to protect collections at prestigious museums throughout North America and around the world.

These versatile museum cabinets can be configured to accommodate any existing drawer or tray, and a wide range of sizes and optional accessories provide secure protection for any collection. Closed-cell gasket seals and our three-point latching system help ensure protection from dust and other contaminants, and the cabinets’ non-off-gassing powder-coat paint finish provides durability and a clean appearance.

All our cabinets are manufactured in the USA of solid, heavy-gauge steel with reinforced welded construction. They can be mounted on Spacesaver compactor systems to optimize storage space.

Full-Height

Full-height conservation storage cabinets offer convenience, flexibility, and optimal storage capacity. They’re our most popular museum cabinets, and with good reason: they can be configured to suit virtually any need.

Made in the USA, these cabinets are designed to change with the needs of your collection and to function flawlessly, even after decades of frequent use.

Counter-Height

Counter-height conservation storage cabinets are a popular choice among museums, archives, repositories, and other institutions of all sizes. These cabinets can be stacked to gain storage capacity or stored on a single level so the tops can be used as a workspace.

They can be configured to accommodate any existing drawer or tray, and a range of sizes and optional accessories provide secure protection for any collection.

AGENT OF DETERIORATION #5:

Our cabinets’ specialized door seals are housed in a steel channel to create a firm seal against pests and other contaminants.
